Overcast Overcast is the simple, beautiful new weather app from Backlight Software. Overcast is designed to give a very quick overview of the current weather conditions and forecasts for the day and for the week. Overcast gives you access to the information you require by removing access to the information you don't even care about. Overcast is also designed to be accessible. Voiceover is fully supported and the typography is designed to be easy on the eyes. Weather data is provided by the kind folks at forecast.io. This data comes from a variety of sources, and is made more accurate by fancy statistical modeling. In many locations, hyper-local forecast information is available. Now, you can know that it will be raining in 13 minutes, and the rain will end 12 minutes after that! That's it. It's just that simple.
